Here at APP in Gandia, we offer a part-time course in Spring & Autumn which is run over ten weeks. This enables us to meet the needs of those who are completely new to teaching and of those participants who may be working or studying at the same time or have family commitments.
Ten weeks offer you more time to process the weekly input given on Friday afternoons and Saturdays, plan your teaching practice and work on your required projects. In our experience, this allows you to get more from the time and effort you invest in your course, with less stress as you go.
Our tutor team are all Trinity approved, with long experience in both teaching and training. We’ll be delighted to talk to you further about our course.
Charlotte is our CertTESOL Course Director with many years’ experience in teacher development at both Cert & Diploma level. What our graduates think
Studying for my TEFL certificate at APP Gandia was one of my best career choices. It was challenging and rewarding in equal measure. My English grammar was a distant memory, so I needed lots of extra help. Charlotte and Christa were with me every step of the way, with patience and understanding. I have now a permanent, part-time job at an academy in Denia and I teach students from age 4 to adults at C1 level. My new career has opened lots of doors and I have made some great friends along the way. I hope to teach for many years to come and my only regret would be that I did not do it earlier in my life. I could not recommend the team at APP Gandia more highly.Helen /
I am so pleased I found you 4 years ago, Trinity changed my life. I also enjoyed my course with you immensely!Cris /
I have had the opportunity to meet wonderful people and rediscover the strength and willpower to do a good job, while learning more about my personal abilities and capacity to grow. I really want to thank you for being our facilitators and for spending time in stimulating us in the creation of rich, interactive content for personalized teaching. We were a motley crew, but we worked as a team and we rowed together because of you. I would define my time on the CertTESOL course with three adjectives: challenging, interactive and rewarding.María del Mar /
Thank you for the life-changing course. I'm now teaching 30 hours a week in Alicante and loving it!Carina /
A very enjoyable course with great, professional teachers. The course required a lot of effort in time and study but it is well worth it. I wish I had taken it in my younger years. I’m proud to say that soon after the course I was employed to work part-time at Lady Elizabeth school teaching children.Rose /
I enjoyed your classes a lot and I learned a lot of English too!Paqui /

Population 80,000, Gandia is a historic county town located south of Valencia (just 50 minutes by train) and north of Alicante on Spain’s Costa Blanca. The region enjoys great weather all year round. Gandia is well-known in Spain for its welcoming people , its exceptional beach and watersports opportunities and of course the spectacular Fallas festival in March.
If you are interested in authentic cuisine, the Valencian province is in fact the home of paella and you can read more about this wonderful tradition here: http://wikipaella.org/ Please don’t add chorizo!
The area doesn’t only attract foodies though. It is the winter and spring training home for many professional and amateur sportspeople, particularly kitesurfers, cyclists and triathletes. We share our building with a Pilates centre, so you don’t need to worry about how you’re going to stay fit while you are with us.
Our premises are right in the centre of town, with easy access to many restaurants, bars, shops and bus and train stations. We’d love to see you here!
