Teacher Training

The Trinity CertTESOL is an internationally-recognised qualification and an entry into a rewarding career in TEFL.

Part-time Course

Here at APP in Gandia, we offer a part-time course in Spring & Autumn which is run over ten weeks. This enables us to meet the needs of those who are completely new to teaching and of those participants who may be working or studying at the same time or have family commitments.

Ten weeks offer you more time to process the weekly input given on Friday afternoons and Saturdays, plan your teaching practice and work on your required projects. In our experience, this allows you to get more from the time and effort you invest in your course, with less stress as you go.

Our tutor team are all Trinity approved, with long experience in both teaching and training. We’ll be delighted to talk to you further about our course.

Charlotte is our CertTESOL Course Director with many years’ experience in teacher development at both Cert & Diploma level.  She delivers regular workshops to local primary and secondary teachers and works closely with the Trinity Spain exams and teacher training team. She attends and speaks at ELT conferences both in Spain and abroad.

OUR TRAINERS

Why Gandia?

Population 80,000, Gandia is a historic county town located south of Valencia (just 50 minutes by train) and north of Alicante on Spain’s Costa Blanca. The region enjoys great weather all year round. Gandia is well-known in Spain for its welcoming people , its exceptional beach and watersports opportunities and of course the spectacular Fallas festival in March.

If you are interested in authentic cuisine, the Valencian province is in fact the home of paella and you can read more about this wonderful tradition here: http://wikipaella.org/ Please don’t add chorizo!

The area doesn’t only attract foodies though. It is the winter and spring training home for many professional and amateur sportspeople, particularly kitesurfers, cyclists and triathletes. We share our building with a Pilates centre, so you don’t need to worry about how you’re going to stay fit while you are with us.

Our premises are right in the centre of town, with easy access to many restaurants, bars, shops and bus and train stations. We’d love to see you here!
